Turmeric, honey extract and shea butter: a body scrub that comes as a dense cream in a jar rather than as salt or sugar.
This Urban Care body scrub from Selen Kozmetik in Istanbul belongs to the Turmeric Honey variant of the Body Care Series. Turmeric and honey, both familiar from the kitchen, appear here as extracts. The scrubbing comes from ground hazelnut shell and apricot kernel powder, and the cream also contains shea butter, mango seed butter, cocoa butter, and olive, avocado and sweet almond oils. The formula is described as paraben-free.
Honestly, despite its creamy texture, this is a proper scrub: as you massage, the particles lift loose skin flakes, while shea butter and oils care for the skin at the same time. That combination is what we like most. Afterwards skin feels softer and looks fresher. If you have a nut allergy, read the ingredients beforehand.

How to use
Dampen your skin, take a portion of scrub from the jar and massage it in gentle circular movements. Leave out sensitive areas. Rinse everything thoroughly with plenty of water afterwards; once or twice a week is enough.
