About the product
Rice ferment and ginger root oil, plus biotin: a rice water shampoo that gives hair shine and softness.
Behind the brand is Luseta Beauty from California. The inspiration is the Red Yao women in China’s Longsheng mountains, who use fermented rice water on their hair. The rice ferment filtrate (sake) is second on the ingredients list. Also included are ginger root oil, mandarin peel extract, panthenol, hydrolysed keratin and biotin.
We like the rice water approach: fermented rice water is a classic of Asian hair care, combined here with ginger root oil and biotin. The bottle has a pump dispenser, and the shampoo is easy to massage in and rinse out thoroughly.
